LUBBOCK, Texas (TTU) - Taylor Zdrojewski scored once in each half, while Macy Blackburn added her fourth goal of the season to push No. 5/3 Texas Tech to a 3-1 bounce-back win over Kansas State Sunday afternoon at the John Walker Soccer Complex.
Off its most lopsided league loss in over eight years at No. 22/7 Colorado Thursday, Texas Tech (13-2-2, 7-1-2 Big 12) used the 21st-minute strike from Zdrojewski to take a 1-0 lead into the break.
After Kansas State (7-6-4, 2-5-3 Big 12) used a 55th minute header from Allison Marshall to tie the contest at one-all, the Red Raiders responded with goals from Zdrojewski (68th minute and Blackburn (72nd minute) to close out their third straight win over the Wildcats and sixth in seven all-time meetings.
