COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Columbia Police officers are investigating a fatal shooting that happened late Saturday night.

According to police, the shooting took place around 11:30 p.m. Saturday at the 3400 block of Bellingham Road.

CPD says after arrival, officers found an adult man with injuries and administered life-saving techniques until EMS arrived.

The man was pronounced dead at a hospital.

According to police, investigators are continuing to determine the circumstances and identify the suspects responsible.

The Richland County Coroner’s Office is assisting with the investigation.
