A hot air balloon crashed into a building in Marana on Oct. 26, according to the Marana Police Department.

At about 7:40 a.m., police and firefighters responded to the crash at the northwest corner of Tangerine Farms Road and Clark Farms Boulevard, according to the Marana police in a Facebook post .

Marana police said the hot air balloon struck a newly constructed, vacant apartment building before landing in a nearby field.

Seven occupants, including the pilot, were in the balloon's basket during the crash, but none were taken to the hospital by responding ambulances, according to police.

Minor injuries were reported, according to the post.

The crash had been reported to the Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board, according to the post.
