MARANA, Ariz. - (KVOA-TV) According to Marana Police, a hot air balloon carrying the pilot and six passengers collided with a vacant apartment building Sunday morning just after 7:30 a.m.

Marana Police say the incident happened at the Northwest corner of Tangerine Farms Rd. and Clark Farms Blvd. After hitting the apartment building, police say the hot air balloon landed in a nearby field.

Neither the passengers nor the pilot was seriously hurt. Only minor injuries were reported.

The NTSB and the FAA are now investigating.
