MINNEAPOLIS -- The Pacers have been crushed by injuries all week as well as all preseason, but their opponent on Sunday got bad injury news of its own.

Timberwolves All-NBA guard Anthony Edwards, one of the game's brightest young stars, left the floor in the first quarter with right hamstring tightness and will not return according to Timberwolves public relations.
