First Flight High students prepare to take flight

On Wednesday, Oct 23, the Dare County Schools reported an update on First Flight High School’s Wright Flight Academy project to build and fly a plane. Here is the information.

First Flight High School’s aviation class is in the final stages of their airplane build with a goal to take their first flight by the end of the year.

Through this hands-on project, students are not only engaging in immersive STEM learning but also developing leadership skills and learning about the numerous aviation-related careers available to them.
