LANSING – Police said a man was shot and killed on the city’s south side in connection with a suspected domestic situation.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at about 5:45 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, in the 5500 block of S. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Lansing police said in a statement. The block is south of Jolly Road.
Officers found a 60-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the chest, according to the statement. The man was transported to a Lansing area hospital by Lansing Fire Department personnel and was later pronounced dead, they added.

Everyone involved in the incident has been identified and “are currently with police,” according to the statement, which added the incident is believed to a domes
