CLAUDE, Texas (KFDA) - The Claude Mustangs defeated Wildorado 66-0 in just two quarters Thursday night and have their sights set on making the playoffs for the first time since 2012.
The Mustangs totaled just under 300 yards of offense while allowing only 43 yards in the shortened game.
Claude currently holds second place in District 1-1A DI, with the top two teams from each district advancing to the playoffs.
Head coach Brantlee Lemons said his team’s improvement from last season has been significant.
