A Rhode Island man was hurt in a box truck crash Sunday morning on Interstate 95 in North Hampton, New Hampshire.

NH State Police say troopers were called around 9:29 a.m. for a report of a large box truck that went off the road and crashed into the tree line on I-95 southbound.

Citing a preliminary investigation, police say Aaron Carpenter, 42, of Providence, RI, was behind the wheel of the Freightliner M2 when it abruptly turned right and went off the road, traveling down an embankment for approximately 50 feet before crashing into the trees.
