DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - More than 150 families enjoyed as many waffles as they could handle at the Duluth Police Foundation’s ‘All you can eat waffles’ fundraiser.

The Duluth Police Foundation fills the city’s funding gaps for the Duluth Police Department.

They’ve funded resources like training technology and protective gear for officers.

This fundraiser helps provide those resources and teaches the community the importance of the foundation.

“Just to have that support from the community for the foundation and our fundraising efforts, which are really important for us,” said Duluth Police Foundation President Peg Johnson. “We’re a small organization, so to have this community investment is really valuable for us.”
