VIRGINIA, Minn. (Northern News Now) - Both the United States men’s and women’s national curling teams competed in the final day of the Pan Continental Curling Championships held on the Iron Range.

On Sunday morning, the women played in the consolation game after falling to Team Canada the night before. They wouldn’t medal this year as they fell to Team Korea, who scored three points in the extra end to win 11-8.

Team China defeated Canada in the women’s gold medal game.

As for the men’s team, they competed against Team Canada in the gold medal match Sunday afternoon and, in a back-and-forth affair, fell 7-3, earning the silver medal.

Both teams join Canada, Japan, China, Korea, and the Australian women’s team in clinching berths for the 2026 World Curling Championships in Calgary, Cana
