There are some lovely Christmas markets in Birmingham for 2025.

The Birmingham German Christmas Market is the first one to open, running from November 1 right through to Christmas Eve in Victoria Square and on New Street.

Then, there's Christmas on Cathedral Square, running for six weeks from November 7 to December 24 with lots of traditionally English food and drink plus plenty of unusual gift ideas from local artisans.

With Clean Air Zone charges, fuel costs and parking fees, it may be cheaper and easier to consider visiting the markets by bus.
