FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WFRV) - A Fond du Lac woman celebrated her 107th birthday.
Audrey Martin was born on Oct. 24, 1918 and grew up in rural Calumet County on her family farm. As a child, she was part of a traveling dance troupe with other family members. She was the co-owner of 'Club Luco' which eventually became the 'Copper Kettle Tavern.' She also was a probation officer.
She's lived in Northeast Wisconsin her entire life.
At her birthday party in Fond du Lac on Sunday, Local 5 News asked her what the most important life lesson she's learned over the years. Her answer was simple.
"You always be nice to people," Martin said.
Dozens of friends and family members attended Martin's 107th birthday party on Sunday. She said it meant a lot to her that everybody wanted to help celebrate her
