Ekta Nagar: The 150th birth anniversary of the Iron Man of India and the architect of an integrated nation, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, will be celebrated on October 31 at the Statue of Unity, Ekta Nagar, highlighting the spirit of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat” (One India, Great India), an official statement said.

Patel’s birth anniversary is observed across the country as National Unity Day every year. National-level celebrations are held annually at the world’s tallest statue — the Statue of Unity — in the presence of the Prime Minister.
