Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama has made a bizarre announcement, saying that the country’s AI-generated Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Diella, is “pregnant” with 83 digital assistants.

News agency Pop Base’s X post regarding the announcement has garnered almost 3 million views.

Speaking at the Berlin Global Dialogue (BGD), Rama formally stated that “for the first time Diella is pregnant and with 83 children”. These 83 “offspring” or digital assistants would aid each Member of Parliament from the Socialist Party.

“Each one...will serve as an assistant for them who will participate in parliamentary sessions, and will keep a record of everything that happens and will suggest members of parliament. These children will have the knowledge of their mother,” Rama said.
