Two devastated daughters have spoken out after their 'kind and loving' mum died after being injected with a black market 'skinny jab.'

Karen McGonigal, from Salford , died in May this year aged 53, just days after she was allegedly illegally administered a dose of semaglutide, a weight loss drug.

A police investigation is underway with one person having been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter and another on suspicion of supplying a 'controlled substance.'

The tragedy means Karen will not be around for the birth of her fifth grandchild, as one of her two daughters, Ffion, has discovered she's pregnant, the Mirror reports.
