In a major crackdown on illegal immigration, the United States has deported 54 men from Haryana who allegedly entered the country through the notorious 'Donkey Route', police officials said on Sunday. The deported youths arrived at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport, Terminal 3, on flight OAE-4767, before being handed over to their families, reported NDTV.
According to Haryana Police, 16 of the deported men hail from Karnal, 15 from Kaithal, five from Ambala, four each from Yamuna Nagar and Kurukshetra, three from Jind, two from Sonipat, and one each from Panchkula, Panipat, Rohtak, and Fatehabad.
The majority of these men are between 25 and 40 years old. Authorities said they had been staying in the US without valid documents after entering illegally through multiple countries,
