INDIANAPOLIS (WPTA) - The Office of Governor Mike Braun announced on Monday that the governor is set to sign a proclamation calling for a special session next week to discuss mid-decade redistricting and a state tax issue.
For months, Republican lawmakers have discussed the possibility of mid-cycle redistricting in the state, an idea largely opposed by Democrats.
On Monday, Braun’s office announced he will call for a special legislative session for the General Assembly to convene on November 3 to consider both redistricting and a state tax compliance issue he says must be addressed.
