Bangladesh’s interim head Muhammad Yunus is obsessed with northeast India. In yet another move that has triggered fresh diplomatic unease, Yunus recently gifted a map to a visiting Pakistani general, depicting Assam and other northeastern states as part of Bangladesh.

According to a report by India Today, Yunus presented the map while gifting a book titled “Art of Triumph” to Pakistan’s Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee chairperson General Sahir Shamshad Mirza during his visit to Dhaka over the weekend.
