The Green Bay Police Department is asking for the public's help following a report of gunshots on the city's west side.
The incident occurred just before noon Oct. 26 when officers responded to the 1700 block of Western Avenue after a report of gunfire in the area. According to witnesses, gunshots may have been exchanged between two people, one person in a vehicle and another on foot, with both fleeing the scene.
No injuries have been reported, but police officers have recovered evidence that confirms a shooting occurred.
