A probe has been launched after the body of a man was found near a railway tunnel in Edinburgh this morning.
Officers from Police Scotland were called to the Spylaw Park area of the capital at around 7.45am on Monday, October 27, following reports a body had been found.
Cops have taped off the Colinton Tunnel after the death which is currently being treated as 'unexplained'. A large police presence is currently in place in the area with the tunnel taped off.
In one picture, taken by the Record, a large white sheet is seen in a wooded area near the tunnel. A police car is also on the scene as the investigation is carried out.
