Ben Sheaf is recovering from an injury ahead of Friday’s clash between Wrexham and his former club Coventry City at the Racecourse Ground.
The ex-Sky Blues skipper joined the Red Dragons on transfer deadline day in the summer and has so far made five starts and one appearance from the bench for Phil Parkinson’s side.
His start to the new campaign was set back with a groin issue, which the 27-year-old midfielder felt minutes after going on for Coventry in the opening match of the season against Hull and which forced him to go off seven minutes later.
Although he quickly recovered from that the former Arsenal prospect missed Wrexham’s 1-0 home win over Oxford United last Tuesday night (Oct 22) and Saturday’s impressive 1-1 draw at second placed Middlesbrough.
