SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Shreveport police have arrested a 15-year-old accused of starting a deadly fire on Milton Street that killed two young girls earlier this month.
Investigators said the teen lived in the home and is responsible for starting the fire.
The suspect was booked into jail on two counts of second-degree murder.
The fire happened on Oct. 13 and claimed the lives of 8-year-old Aaliyah Robinson and 5-year-old Danielle Spearman, who both attended Turner Elementary School.
On Sunday evening (Oct. 26), the Shreveport community gathered at the school for a vigil to honor the sisters’ memory .
