The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam-led alliance has set an all-party meeting for November 2 to address concerns over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) Phase-2 announced by the Election Commission. Earlier today, DMK chief and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin chaired a key consultation in Chennai's Anna Arivalayam on the same topic.

Lasting an hour from 6 pm, the meeting led to the decision for broader consultation owing to monsoon-induced practical challenges. In a social media post, CM Stalin highlighted the difficulty of executing the SIR exercise during the torrential months of November and December.
