MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — Mesa officials announced a new youth drug prevention campaign called “Be Aware. Be Strong. Be Healthy” at an event at the Arizona Museum of Natural History, and that is Something Good.

The curriculum is being developed by the Be Kind People Project, a nonprofit known for its creative assemblies to reach students. The Be Kind Crew will deliver the program.

The new program will feature videos, dance, music and class activities focused on helping kids build confidence and resilience to say no to the pressures of drugs and alcohol.
