PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Our quiet weather pattern continues into week two with a ridge of high pressure building over the state.
That will allow temperatures to creep up the next couple of days with highs in the low 90s and overnight lows in the mid-60s.
Even though that’s 5-6 degrees above average, those temperatures are well short of any record setters.
By the weekend we expect highs will drop back into the 80s, more average for this time of year.
Over the next couple of weeks, the longer-range indicators are pointing to drier-than-average conditions and warmer-than-average temperatures.
This is the time of year when we could be seeing our first snow in the mountains, but nothing like that appears to be developing.
