Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has made it clear that its employees will not be eligible for promotion if they fail to submit their annual property statements by the prescribed deadline.

An order in this regard has been issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department to all departments of the state government, RDCs and district Collector. ADVERTISEMENT

Officials said the order was issued after the General Administration Department learnt that many government employees did not submit their annual property statements for the year 2024 by the prescribed deadline.

The government has also decided that the deadline for submission of property statements for 2024 would not be extended.
