A Halloween kids' event at Glasgow's SEC has received screeds of bad reviews on social media and comparisons to last year's infamous Willy Wonka Experience – which was so bad it made headlines around the world.
Glasghost was supposed to be a spectacularly spooky indoor event for families last weekend, complete with a ghost train, silent disco, bouncy castle, laser tag and pumpkin patch. Tickets for kids clocked in at £16, with adults paying £26 or more depending on the time slot.
But many angry and disappointed visitors said the day was terrible value for money, echoing the poorly put together viral Wonka Experience that put Glasgow into the focus of worldwide media.
