LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

Kentucky Kingdom in Louisville is adding a new roller coaster to its roster, its first since 2019.

Next year, the theme park will debut Flying Fox.

"It'll be a unique coaster to what we have at the park currently, because it is suspended and it will be family friendly. So we're really excited about that. Something that will appeal to all ages," said Logan Sanderson, the marketing manager for Kentucky Kingdom.

A suspension coaster allows the train to hang from the track.

The track will be 1,380 feet long with a max height of 65 feet. At its fastest, it will go 37 mph. Riders will have to be at least 38 inches tall.
