1$22 million lottery jackpot struck by single app user in New Jersey
TRENTON, NJ – A single New Jersey Lottery player who used the Jackpocket app struck it rich Saturday night, matching all six numbers to win a $22 million Pick-6 jackpot—making them the second-largest winner of the game this year.
The lucky ticket, purchased through the popular mobile app, matched the winning numbers: 06, 07, 13, 15, 36, and 45. The winner opted for the lump sum cash payout, which came to $10,403,880 before taxes.
The win resets the Pick-6 jackpot to its $2 million base for Monday’s drawing, but also activates the state’s “The Jackpot Was Hit!” promotion. Through November 1, players who buy three plays on a single ticket will automatically receive a free play on a separate ticket.
