A Huntsville man was arrested Friday night following a shooting on Acklen Drive.
According to Huntsville Police, 21-year-old Pedro Jose Trejos Perez is charged with discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling and discharging a firearm into an unoccupied vehicle.
The arrest comes after officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 3100 block of Acklen Drive about 11:30 p.m. Friday.
When officers arrived, they found evidence gunfire had struck an occupied residence and an unoccupied vehicle.
Police say no injuries were reported.
The preliminary investigation revealed an argument between neighbors escalated when Perez allegedly pulled out a firearm and began shooting.
Police say Perez initially fled the scene but returned a short time later while officers were still there.
