Murray Bartlett , the Emmy-winning actor best known for playing the unhinged hotel manager in Season 1 of “The White Lotus,” has found his next project: Netflix’s adaptation of “ All the Sinners Bleed .”

The limited series based on S.A. Cosby’s novel boasts an ensemble cast that features Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù, John Douglas Thompson, Nicole Beharie, Daniel Ezra and Andrea Cortes. It follows a Black sheriff in a small Bible Belt town who, haunted by his religious mother’s untimely death, hunts down a serial killer that has been preying on his community in the name of God.

Bartlett has been cast as Scott Cunningham, the town’s chairman of the board of supervisors.
