LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln Police Department provided an update Monday on the city’s fourth domestic-related homicide of 2025.
“At this time, we believe the death of 43-year-old Tracy Henman is another incident of domestic violence that ended in the worst possible way and our hearts go out to her family and loved ones,” LPD said in a press release.
Investigators determined the incident began on the evening of Oct. 21, more than 36 hours before officers entered Henman’s home near 56th and Holdrege streets on Thursday.
During a search of the home, officers found Henman and she was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said she had injuries to her neck.
