HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Two dogs were rescued after a structure fire in Hastings on Saturday Night. The fire was reported at 9:30 p.m. near West Third Street and Oswego Avenue.
Hastings city officials said the fire was not active when Hastings Fire and Rescue arrived, but the house did sustain smoke damage. There were no people at the house when firefighters arrived, but two dogs were rescued.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Hastings Police Department, Utility Department, Street Department and Hastings Rural Fire Department responded to the incident as well.
