A woman was arrested Sunday after she allegedly stabbed a 15-year-old girl almost a dozen times in Cutler Bay.
The suspect, 26-year-old Lynn My Le, now faces charges of attempted felony murder with a weapon with the remark "domestic violence."
According to an arrest report, it happened at the suspect's home at around 3:20 p.m. on Sunday.
The teen was sleeping in the living room and awoke to find Le going through her phone. When she confronted her and tried to take her phone back, Le allegedly "armed herself with a black knife."
"The victim attempted to flee from the subject by running towards the front door," but Le allegedly stabbed her about four times in the back, the arrest report states.
The victim "collapsed," but Le continued to stab her all over, authorities said.
