Dozens of people took part in a 5K and one mile fun run through downtown Fort Gibson Sunday to honor the memory of Isaih Atwood, who was killed in a crash two years ago.
Atwood’s family says a run is the perfect way to honor him because he loved being active, and it’s a way for them to share his story.
REMEMBERING ISAIH
People were running and walking through downtown Fort Gibson to remember the life of a 15-year-old teenager.
"He was just a fun kid to be around,” said Teler Hobbs, Atwood’s mother. “He was just amazing. He had apparently a lot of friends that he loved to laugh with. He was just a good kid."
Atwood was killed in a crash two years ago.
