TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare released a statement Oct. 21 about November benefits under the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP, during the federal government shutdown. Idaho has nearly 300 food banks, food pantries and soup kitchens to help those in need, which can be found on The Idaho Foodbank website . There are over 30 in the Magic Valley.
