Line of Duty star Mark Bonnar has revealed he initially turned down the chance to appear in The Traitors: Uncloaked before eventually deciding to take part in the hit BBC reality show. ‌

The Scottish actor, known for his roles in Guilt, Shetland and Dept Q, said he had serious reservations about joining the celebrity edition , admitting he had never done anything similar before. ‌

Speaking to BBC Radio Scotland’s Lunchtime Live, he said: “I took quite a while to make up my mind about it. I really wasn't sure because I've never done anything like that before... I'm not a celebrity, I'm an actor.” ‌
