WEATHERFORD, Okla. (KTRE) - Former Lufkin Panther Elijah Alexander forced a fumble and recovered it himself in East Central’s 38-14 loss to Southwestern Oklahoma State on Saturday.
The freshman has 17 total tackles, a sack and a forced fumble this season.
Alexander finished with four tackles, one tackle-for-loss, a forced fumble and fumble recovery. In the fourth quarter, Alexander tackled Malik Roberson for no gain, forced a fumble and recovered it at the Southwestern 42-yard line. Amajah Lewis (Carthage) finished with a game-high 11 tackles, including one tackle-for-loss.
East Central (5-3) hosts Southern Arkansas on Nov. 1.
