A Russell neighborhood bar had its liquor license suspended following an Oct. 25 homicide that occurred in the bar’s parking lot, according to Louisville Metro Alcoholic Beverage Control.
Louisville Metro Police responded to a report of a shooting at the Club Cedar Bar at Cedar and South 26 th streets at around 11:45 p.m. Oct. 25, spokesperson Matt Sanders said. When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a single gunshot wound to the head in the parking lot.
The man, later identified as Andrew Cochran, 45, was taken to UofL Hospital for treatment, but later died. LMPD’s Homicide Unit is currently investigating.
