TOLEDO, Ohio — One person was arrested Friday night after they allegedly stabbed a person with whom they'd argued earlier in the day.
According to a Toledo police report, officers were dispatched to an apartment in the 2500 block of Eastgate Road regarding a stabbing. They found the victim, a 31-year-old, who said he'd gotten into an argument with 28-year-old Arielle Sellers following a dinner and birthday celebration for Sellers.
The victim said he'd gone to bed, but woke up several hours later when he saw Sellers brandishing a "large kitchen knife." Sellers then allegedly attacked him with the knife. In an affidavit, the victim told police he tried to get the knife from her, but they fell to the ground. The victim suffered a "severe laceration" to his right hand, which required stitche
