DENVER (KDVR) — A 22-year-old from California and a 21-year-old from Florida were the two men killed in an Oct. 19 plane crash near Erie Municipal Airport in Colorado, according to the Weld County Coroner's Office.
The crash happened east of the runway at the northern Colorado airport at around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 19.
Niles Tilenius, 22, of San Mateo County, Calif., and William Johnston, 21, of Hillsborough County, Flor., the victims in the crash, were the only two people on the plane, according to a press release from the coroner's office.
