Every year, the Brewer Federal Credit Union makes donations to local organizations to support their community.
The president and CEO of BFCU presented a $1,000 check to the Brewer Area Food Pantry.
Each year presents a new challenge for community members, and now, it’s the government shutdown.
After hearing locals voice concerns over where they will go for food support and witnessing the tons of food distributed through the pantry, the credit union’s president and CEO says it was time to donate now.
