SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Happy Monday, Utah! After some morning northern mountain snow and valley rain showers, things have started to dry out and clear up across Utah.
Areas of central and southern Utah will enjoy plenty of sunshine on Monday afternoon. Highs will only be in the upper 40s to lower 50s across northern Utah and in the 60s and 70s for southern Utah.
The next weather maker for Tuesday into midweek will be a big ridge of high pressure that will settle over Utah. This will bring the famous "Inversion season" back to the Wasatch Front. This will lead to areas of thick haze being trapped over the valleys, but blue skies will be common for higher elevations and areas outside of the valley.
