SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) -- Snowfall is expected across much of northern Utah on Sunday, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from noon Sunday through noon Monday. The advisory will impact the Wasatch Mountains and I-80 North, as well as Mantua and Logan Summit, according to the NWS.
Snow accumulations of four to eight inches are expected north and east of I-84, the NWS said, with locally up to 12 inches in the Bear River Range. One to four inches of snow is expected in the Wasatch Range, adjacent to I-15.
"Winter driving conditions are expected including US-89 through Logan Canyon and higher portions of Monte Cristo (SR-39) east of Ogden," the NWS advisory states. "Slow down and use caution while traveling."
