HOUSTON -- Four people were shot in a peculiar series of events in Houston on Sunday morning.

Houston Police Assistant Chief Patricia Cantu said two people were dropped off at a hospital at 5:06 a.m. Sunday with gunshot wounds. They reportedly said they had been shot at Caribe Sport Bar, located at 6916 Rampart St.

Assistant Chief Cantu said officers visited the site but noticed "activity" inside that led them to believe no shooting occurred there. ABC Houston affiliate KTRK is working to learn more about what kind of activity officers observed, if they set foot inside the club or spoke with anyone on-site.
