Astronaut, Tennessee Tech alum Butch Wilmore to serve as grand marshal in school’s parade

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A popular Tennessee Tech University alumnus will be leading the school’s homecoming parade next weekend.

Retired National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) astronaut and two-time graduate of TTU, Barry “Butch” Wilmore, will serve as the parade’s grand marshal ahead of the Golden Eagles’ game against Gardner-Webb University on Saturday, November 1.
