The best college hockey team in the country is almost certainly from the state of Michigan, no matter how you parse it.

Per USCHO.com , which provides a weekly college hockey ranking for the NCAA, the top-three teams in the country are all from Michigan.

The Michigan State Spartans are ranked No. 1, the Michigan Wolverines are No. 2 and the defending national champion Western Michigan Broncos are No. 3.

This is the second week in a row the top-three teams in the country have been from Michigan, though the Wolverines and Broncos swapped positions in the latest poll.
