LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Lansing police are investigating what they call a “suspicious death.”
A 54-year-old man died Monday, Oct. 27, nearly two weeks after police found him unconscious with “serious injuries” on E. Oakland Avenue, near Washington Avenue.
Lansing police officials say officers were called to the area around 7:45 a.m. on Oct. 14 and found him unresponsive. He was taken to the hospital, but despite nearly two weeks of treatment, he succumbed to his injuries this week.
The man’s name has not been released.
Lansing police labeled the death as “suspicious,” but have not released any further details about the case.
Police are awaiting more information from the medical examiner’s office and officers are investigating to determine whether this was a criminal incident, official
