SHREVEPORT, La. - KTBS has learned new details about the 15-year-old boy accused of starting a house fire that killed two young sisters in Shreveport’s Queensborough neighborhood.

According to court records and KTBS sources, the teen — identified as Marshavion Harris — was supposed to be serving a sentence at the Johnny Robinson's Boys Home in Monroe after being convicted of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

The records indicate Harris was placed in the custody of the Office of Juvenile Justice on July 18. He was placed at the group home on Aug. 4. He escaped on Aug. 29, less than a month after his arrival.

Police say Harris later returned to Shreveport, where he had family living on Milton Street in Queensborough. On Oct.13, investigators allege he set fire to that home, killing his
